I worked as a system administrator for 8 years, managing virtualization, web servers, Linux servers (CentOS, Ubuntu, Oracle Linux), and Windows servers (from 2003R2 to the latest version), as well as databases. For the past two years, I've been a backend developer specializing in Python, working with frameworks like Django and FastAPI. I also have frontend development experience with React. Additionally, I am a DevOps engineer, proficient in Docker Swarm, GitLab CI, Terraform, AWS, Zabbix, Prometheus, and Grafana. My journey into DevOps began naturally from my extensive experience as a system administrator. The transition to DevOps was a seamless evolution of my skills in managing and automating infrastructure. A recent accomplishment I’m proud of is setting up a robust CI/CD pipeline using GitLab CI for a complex microservices architecture, significantly improving deployment speed and reliability. In the DevOps field, I recently delved into infrastructure as code (IaC) with Terraform, which has revolutionized how I manage and provision infrastructure. This new knowledge has enabled me to automate the setup of entire environments, ensuring consistency and reducing human error. What I’m most passionate about in DevOps is the culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. I thrive in environments where development and operations work hand in hand to deliver high-quality software.
