Started as front line clerk taking warranty calls in three different languages(spanish, english and portuguese) for Intel Customers, few years later I was promoted as Intel Technical Support agent, providing technicla support for Intels hardaware like, servers, processors, motherboards, raid cards, etc etc. Few years later I became manager of that team about 5 engineers and was one of top perfomance teams in the company. Move to the states and started working in Facebooks datacenter as Datacenter Engineer, racking, stacking, fixing and cabling server. 2 years after that Turn hired me as a datacenter engineer and eventually promoted to system administrator and later on became a DevOps. I been working different project automating things using puppet and ansible. One big project I had was the deployement and automatio of the Logging pipeline using elastic, filebeat, kibana, logstash and kafka. Automated the deployment of this pipeline using puppet. Lately I been expose to thingd like aerospike translating puppet modules to ansible playbooks and know sidero to deploy kubernetes clusters. I familiar with hardware and datacenter procedures and layouts so have understanding of differenr areas that devops engineers interact in the daily basis, this has allow me to.understand better the needs and requirements to provide a better support. Im also familiar with technologies like kafka not only as a infrastructure developer but also administrator of the service.
