🚀 From sysadmin to system architect, and DevOps Engineer afterwards I've journeyed through the dynamic world of IT for almost 17 years, blending architectural expertise with hands-on execution. 💪 Whether it is in presales, implementation, or operations, in the cloud or on-premises - I've done a lot in the realm of IT infrastructure. My current interest lies in DevOps and Cloud positions, where I thrive in designing solutions that propel businesses forward. I am skilled in decomposing complex tasks, automating infrastructure provisioning, leveraging infrastructure-as-code principles, and implementing robust monitoring and alerting systems to ensure maximum uptime. :chart_with_upwards_trend: My ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions has been commended by my previous employers. My track record as a DevOps engineer includes a lot in my current company. Naming some: • besides managing and cost optimization of AWS and non-AWS based services, I have designed and rebuilt monitoring and observability stack, resulting in maintainting 99.9% and more availability of most services. • Created Kubernetes clusters from scratch and migrated more than hundred of apps from baremetal and plain Docker to K8S, leading K8S from nothing to production (creating and improving CI/CD pipelines and processes all along and improving compute resources utilization up to 10 times and more). • Created log management solution for Windows-based trading platform using AWS Lambda, Fluentd and some other technologies. • I even implemented DesignOps processes for our marketing and design teams seamlessly integrating Figma workflows, AWS S3 and other company services using GitlabCI and Go. In my previous company, I had an extensive experience working with EKS, EC2 and other AWS services, designed and built working monitoring stack, improved and extended current Terraform-based IaC code for AWS cloud, designed and improved CI/CD pipelines, succeeded in quick creation of new environments for developers in separate K8S clusters shortening the processes to minutes instead of hours. Also I have vast experience in Red Hat Openshift, virtualization platforms, datacenters, server and storage systems, building private clouds for customers, and many other IT infrastructure-related stuff. I pivoted my career path slightly in 2019-2020 as I wanted to be more focused on engineering experience gaining actual skills and working closer with the software development teams.
