My fascination with computers began with a deep curiosity about operating systems and how they function. This led me to explore Linux, where hands-on tinkering with various distributions significantly enhanced my understanding of system design and management. This exploration naturally evolved into a passion for DevOps, as I embraced the challenges of configuring and optimizing complex systems. Today, I apply this extensive background to my work with Kubernetes and Nix, constantly seeking innovative solutions and refining my skills through practical experience. In my career, I’ve managed Azure infrastructure using Pulumi, which has streamlined infrastructure provisioning. I’ve been involved in maintaining highly available applications on Kubernetes and developing Helm Charts for application deployment. My work includes the use of Kyverno for policy management, secure secret injection with External Secrets, and automated ingress management with External DNS, Cert Manager, and Ingress-NGINX. I’ve also set up monitoring with Grafana and its related tools, such as Grafana Loki, Grafana Mimir, and Grafana Alloy. Additionally, I’ve utilized ArgoCD for continuous delivery and developed in-house tooling to improve the management of air-gapped Kubernetes deployments.
