Hi all, My DevOps journey started 3 years ago, but before that I used to be working as a critical support L2 engineer, supporting applications and resolving their tickets being raised from 1st level team. It was a quite routine job, I've gained enough experience but with bar limit and no room for much improvement. During that period of time, I have been involved in some DevOps projects but as a side job not the main one, started to like it bit by bit, and began to self develop my self through gaining knowledge in many DevOps tools by studying Ansible, Gitlab and Kubernetes. After 2 and a half years, I moved to DevOps position and assigned as a senior DevOps engineer for building/troubleshooting projects with Gitlab tool in Kubernetes infrastructure. I gained lot of experiences with much room for improvement, as it is quite challenging with daily tasks. Recently, I was involved in monitoring enhancement for applications used in the Olympic games in Paris, as we are responsible for building monitoring projects using Gitlab tools being deployed in Kubernetes infrastructure. It was very challenging as there were many critical applications that their monitoring alerts need to be fully set up correctly. What I've learned fro DevOps, that everyday I need to learn something new and embrace the new challenges with open arms that make me grow from a technical point of view and also personally. DevOps is the new trend in the world of IT and there are many tools out there we should be looking for. Finally, I have found my self in this methodology that will grow even further in the future.
