Looking back on my career, I started as a system admin, diving into building end-to-end solutions. Over time, I discovered my true passion for streamlining development and operational processes, which led me into the world of DevOps. The transition had its challenges, but each one was a valuable learning experience. Now, as a Senior DevOps Engineer, my focus is on enhancing systems and automating processes to boost development efficiency and reliability. In my recent roles, I've had the opportunity to: Manage AWS environments, cutting operational costs and scaling systems effectively. Automate CI/CD pipelines, significantly reducing deployment times. Implement GitOps and Infrastructure as Code (laC) practices with Terraform. One of my proudest achievements has been developing a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway which handles thousands of transactions daily. I've also optimized server and database operations, managed Kubernetes clusters, and worked to improve system uptime, ensuring robust and scalable infrastructures. Continuous learning and improvement drive my journey. Mastering tools like AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitLabCI, and staying updated with new trends keep me excited about my work.
