My DevOps journey have started just like everybody, Started career as developer and then moved onto administration and then made my way to SRE and DevOps roles. Throughout the journey had the opportunity to learn about the systems and operations from different angles of roles (one from developer side, one from SRE and one from DevOps side). I am able to grasp each and every point about the system and operations along the way. I have worked in Cloud (AWS, Azure) and On prem systems which gave me detailed insight of architecture and systems performance. In my career, my work (most I would say), has aligned with Infra provisioning, configuring (Iac) through Terraform and Ansible, and deploying, managing container platforms like Docker and Kubernetes. I am very much passionate about managing and understanding more of Kubernetes where given a chance and I believe K8 is an Ocean full of experiences. Thus, there is a lot to experience more through different platforms. In my career, I have designed and optimized CI/CD pipelines utilizing Jenkins, GitLab CI, Argo CD, and Azure DevOps, which has automated our software delivery process and resulted in a decrease in manual errors. My background in monitoring and alerting, utilizing tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and AWS CloudWatch, has ensured continuous optimization of system performance, resulting in reduction of incident response times. I have strong experience in administering and maintaining both Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows environments, along with scripting skills in Bash, Python, and PowerShell, to automate routine tasks, have not only improved operational efficiency but have also elevated software quality, leading to increased development productivity across teams.
