My journey into DevOps started with a deep curiosity for improving processes and streamlining workflows through automation. At Seagate Technologies, I led global automation efforts, where I not only reduced test times but also improved software quality by building scalable, modular testing frameworks. This early experience showed me how small but thoughtful changes can create a lasting impact across teams. As I deepened my interest in automation, I ventured into cloud-native technologies, which inspired me to pursue a Master’s in Computer Science, focusing on DevOps and cloud. At the North Carolina Institute for Climate Studies, I took on the challenge of building an event-driven ETL pipeline using AWS, significantly reducing data processing time. This hands-on experience taught me the power of integrating cloud and automation to enhance operational efficiency. What drives me in DevOps is the opportunity to create solutions that not only solve current challenges but also lay the groundwork for long-term scalability and innovation. I’m constantly learning and evolving in cloud infrastructure, using tools like AWS, Azure, Docker, Terraform, and Kubernetes to architect systems that are built for the future. My approach combines a security-first mindset with automation, ensuring the solutions I create are not just efficient, but resilient and adaptable. I enjoy tackling complex problems, whether it's optimizing build processes, enhancing system performance, or automating workflows. By focusing on solutions that are both practical and scalable, I ensure that each project I work on delivers real value, supporting an organization's growth and enabling them to meet evolving business demands. I thrive in environments where innovation and efficiency come together, making an impact that goes beyond the immediate task at hand.
