As a DevOps engineer with a foundation rooted in both Information Security and Computer Engineering, my journey has been shaped by a combination of formal education and hands-on experience. I began my academic career at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), where I earned a bachelor's degree in Information Security. This solidified my understanding of the principles of protecting systems and data, laying a strong foundation for my passion for secure software development and infrastructure. Continuing my path, I’m currently pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering at Azerbaijan Technical University. This blend of information security and computer engineering has given me a comprehensive view of how software and systems should be built, maintained, and, most importantly, secured. My interest in DevOps started as I began to see the connection between security, automation, and efficient development practices. The idea of creating seamless, secure, and scalable systems excited me, so I began focusing on mastering cloud technologies and automation tools. This includes working with Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines, Terraform for Infrastructure as Code, and AWS for cloud infrastructure, while also diving deep into application security. I’ve found that the combination of security and DevOps is becoming increasingly crucial. Being a DevOps engineer today means more than just building pipelines—it's about creating resilient, automated, and secure environments from the ground up. This journey has led me to pursue certifications like Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), which has further enhanced my skills in container orchestration and managing scalable cloud-native systems.
