I committed to pursuing a career in software engineering after a stranger hacked my Facebook account — believe it or not, that event was the catalyst for everything that followed. I became obsessed with a single question: *How was that even possible?* That curiosity led me to install Kali Linux — my first UNIX-based distro — and dive headfirst into cybersecurity and ethical hacking tools. From there, I immersed myself in the broader software ecosystem, eventually earning a state-sponsored backend development scholarship focused on Node.js. Shortly after, I landed my first role as a Cloud Developer at a startup — a transformative experience that cemented my passion for backend infrastructure. That led to an international role as a Platform Engineer, where I worked with event-driven architectures and picked up invaluable lessons in scalability and systems design. Today, I work as a DevOps Engineer with the same curiosity and intensity that first drew me in. That initial spark never went out — and I’m still just as grateful for every opportunity to learn, build, and share what I know.
