My professional journey started back in 2013 as a linux administrator while I was still in college as a part time. In the late part of year 2014, I got introduced to DevOps and immediately fell in love with the concept of automation and standardisation; more importantly separating the developers from the server management - to keep the data secure. Along side DevOps, the immediate following year, started noticing Cloud offerings and the on-demand concept scaling capabilities fuelled my interest further. Docker and Terraform were just making their way into the market with a lot of other [not so popular choices] - I instantly fell in love with them and knew which way I had to head to, right after college. I now have a proud 9+ years of extensive experience devops/cloud practices, tools and services. Instead of focusing on one specific cloud or devops tools, I preferred to hone my skills in the concept and stay flexible. This helped me to gain prominent experiences in all major clouds including AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, Alibaba, DigitalOcean - to name a few. Similarly. got my exposure with - Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, Gitlab, GOCD, CI/CD, Jenkins, Ansible, Packer, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Redis, Jira/YouTrack, Vagrant, Teamcity, Scrum, Agile Methodology. In the last 2-3 years, apart from above mentioned skill list; to don an architect's hat, I have enhanced my focus towards compliances [ex. HIPPA, SOC2, PCI, ISO 27001/27002], along with well-architectured codes review and security.
