I am a self-taught engineer since COVID hit the world, it was a great opportunity for me to focus and explore online knowledge and explore multiple fields like data science, mobile telecommunication and finally I settled in SRE and DevOps technologies. I have been working as Cloud Automation Engineer since October 2021. I have done some projects that helped me better understanding cloud services and how to interact with APIs testing , my team’s mission was to monitor the services in Our Cloud provider and make sure that they are up and running my role in the team was creating scripts that would fetch the important data from the API tests we would perform and inject them in some sort of data source , As you can see I am a fresh graduate , but I managed to execute the tasks efficiently by learning more about the data sources and how to interact with them such as ELK stack and PostgreSQL. All of this while using GitLab CI in order to achieve the full automation cycle Meanwhile I have taken some courses and certifications in order to enhance my knowledge such as RHCSA and terraform Associate where I got to experiment, create some templates and tested them on both Flexible Engine (Orange Cloud Provider) and AWS. I have been lucky also to join AWS cloud DevOps scholarship where I got to have some projects that manifested the skills, I learnt such as Cloud Formation and building a full CI/CD pipeline using circle CI I have included the links in the resume they are in my repository I joined my current position since Dec 2023 and since then I have learned a lot about architecting the environment in major Cloud provider balancing between cost and performance continuing in the learning process i worked many projects stating few using K8s operator to send notifications , Karpernter and using Github actions to update APIG and Ready to do more
