My journey into DevOps started from a deep curiosity about how code moves from a developer’s laptop to production. Early in my career as a Hadoop administrator, I was the go-to person for solving environment issues, optimizing server performance, and ensuring uptime. That’s when I realized I didn’t just enjoy fixing problems — I loved automating them away. One of my proudest projects was leading the migration of a legacy monolithic application to a microservices architecture deployed on Kubernetes. I designed and implemented a fully automated CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins, Docker, and GitOps principles, which reduced deployment time from hours to minutes and increased release frequency without compromising quality. What excites me most about DevOps is how it constantly evolves — from observability and SRE practices to AI-driven automation — there’s always something new to learn and implement. I thrive in environments where I can not only automate but also mentor teams, bringing best practices in security, monitoring, and cloud-native development.
