My DevOps journey began with a curious mind and a strong desire to bridge the gap between development and operations. I started my career as a Junior DevOps Engineer at Wipro, where I was initially responsible for assisting in CI/CD pipelines and managing basic Kubernetes configurations. Over time, that curiosity grew into a deep passion for automation, scalability, and system reliability. What set my journey apart was my proactive approach to learning. I immersed myself in mastering tools like AWS, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and Kubernetes. I didn’t just follow instructions—I explored, experimented, and often built things from scratch. Within a year, I was promoted to DevOps Engineer, a milestone that validated my commitment and adaptability. One of my most rewarding projects involved leading the migration of a monolithic application into a microservices-based architecture on EKS. This included writing Terraform modules for reusable infrastructure, implementing GitOps for streamlined deployments, and integrating monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana. The success of that project not only improved system uptime and release velocity but also gave me the confidence to take ownership of complex systems. Recently, I dove deep into security automation—learning how to integrate tools like AWS Config, GuardDuty, and Secrets Manager into our workflows. I’m fascinated by DevSecOps, especially the challenge of embedding security without slowing down development. That’s where I feel I can make a real difference: balancing speed with safety, and innovation with stability. What makes me unique as a DevOps engineer is my combination of strong scripting skills, cloud architecture knowledge, and a “builder’s mindset.” I don’t just solve problems—I prevent them. I anticipate infrastructure needs, write clean and scalable code, and constantly look for ways to make systems more efficient, secure, and resilient.
