My journey into DevOps started with a solid foundation in computer science and grew through hands-on experience in system administration and cloud infrastructure. After serving as a reserve officer responsible for maintaining critical server environments and leading infrastructure planning at NSPO, I knew I wanted to go deeper into the cloud and automation space. Through the ITI Cloud Architecture diploma and my current role as a DevOps Engineer at VOIS, I've immersed myself in designing scalable, reliable CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code using Terraform. I’ve had the opportunity to work on cross-platform pipelines for iOS and React Native apps, streamline deployments with Jenkins and GitHub Actions, and secure workflows with best practices around secrets management. What excites me most about DevOps is the combination of problem-solving and innovation—bridging gaps between development and operations to deliver faster, more secure solutions. Whether it’s automating with Ansible, managing Kubernetes clusters, or deploying multi-region AWS architectures, I’m passionate about creating systems that scale and perform. With a blend of military discipline, hands-on systems knowledge, and cloud-native skills, I bring a unique perspective to DevOps—someone who can see the whole stack and isn’t afraid to dive into the weeds to get things working smoothly.
