My journey into DevOps began with a curiosity for how things work behind the scenes — not just writing code, but deploying it, monitoring it, and scaling it seamlessly. With close to 5 years of industry experience, I’ve transitioned from being an AWS Cloud Engineer to a DevOps Engineer, currently working part-time while finishing my master's in Computer Science in Germany. What makes my story unique is how I balance academic learning, real-world DevOps responsibilities, and a strong desire to keep leveling up. At work, I specialize in building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. One of my recent highlights was integrating Prometheus metrics with Datadog on a single server, a task I later extended into a pipeline — streamlining monitoring and observability across environments. While I’m confident with AWS core services like EC2, IAM, CloudWatch, S3, and SNS, I’ve also been actively learning Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker to strengthen my IaC and containerization game. Recently, I’ve been diving deep into release automation — even crafting a thesis on semantic release automation with AI-generated release notes across multi-language repos. It’s a perfect blend of innovation and practicality, which is exactly where I thrive. What excites me most in DevOps is solving friction points in software delivery — turning bottlenecks into smooth, automated workflows. I’m passionate about simplifying complexity and enabling development teams to focus on building, while I ensure everything else “just works.” I bring a thoughtful, learner’s mindset to every challenge — backed by hands-on experience, constant upskilling, and the ability to explain complex systems clearly. Whether it’s integrating new tools or architecting scalable workflows, I aim to be the person who makes things better, faster, and more reliable.
