My path to DevOps wasn't a straight shot; it grew from my time deep in software development, where I saw the usual friction between the coding and operations folks. That frustration pushed me to find a better way, and I jumped into DevOps. Recently, I led a big project revamping how we build and release a key set of applications. By bringing in some smart ways of managing our setup and automating everything from the ground up, we cut release times way down and made working together much smoother. Right now, I'm digging into making life even easier for developers by simplifying the underlying tech. What really gets me going is tackling tough problems and finding smart, real-world solutions. My coding background helps me see things from a developer's point of view, so I build systems that actually work well for them. I'm all about using my mix of coding smarts and infrastructure know-how to help teams build and deliver great software, faster.
