0About
My journey began with a strong foundation in computer engineering from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport, where I cultivated a deep understanding of systems, networks, and development. But it was when I started combining automation, security, and scalable deployment practices that I truly found my niche. At Banque Misr, I took on the challenge of optimizing legacy systems by applying cutting-edge DevOps practices. One of my most impactful achievements? Eliminating Oracle SOA Suite bottlenecks using OpenShift’s horizontal scaling, resulting in drastically improved system responsiveness. I also developed secure, custom Docker images that passed rigorous TwistCLI scans—security baked right into the pipeline. I built CI/CD pipelines from the ground up using Azure DevOps, reducing deployment times by over 60%. From automating semantic versioning with Bash and Python, to provisioning infrastructure with Terraform, my work enabled faster, safer, and more reliable releases across technologies like .Net, Python, Java, and Angular. Monitoring and observability are essential to DevOps success, and I delivered on that too—implementing Prometheus and Grafana for real-time monitoring, alongside the EFK stack for deep log insights. The result? Less downtime, quicker recovery, and happier devs and ops. Beyond the enterprise, I love to teach. As a programming instructor at Nile International College, I introduced students to the world of software development through engaging projects that made code come alive. I’m passionate about bridging gaps—between teams, between tools, and between ideas. My unique blend of infrastructure automation, cloud-native tools, security-first containerization, and educational outreach means I don’t just solve problems—I build systems that prevent them. If you’re looking for a DevOps engineer who thrives on challenges, automates everything that moves, and can scale ideas into production, let's connect.
