One of my proudest moments was recently leading a real-time DevOps project from scratch. I architected a CI/CD pipeline for a Node.js and Flask application using GitHub Actions, Docker Hub, Kubernetes (kind) on an EC2 Ubuntu instance, with Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring and Terraform for infrastructure provisioning. This wasn’t a tutorial-following project — it mimicked a production environment with version-controlled infrastructure, automated deployments, and real-time observability. The thrill of seeing all moving parts working in harmony, catching bottlenecks proactively, and rolling out changes without downtime reminded me why I chose this field.
