I’m an aspiring DevOps engineer with a hands-on background in software support, system automation, and infrastructure management, currently based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. My DevOps journey began while supporting banking operations, where I witnessed the critical need for automation, stability, and resilience in high-stakes environments. That led me to explore infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes. Recently, I successfully bootstrapped and now manage an on-premise, high-availability Kubernetes cluster at Softnet Technologies — complete with CI/CD using Jenkins, private container registry (Harbor), persistent storage (Longhorn), and PostgreSQL deployments. I’m also a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), preparing for my CKAD to deepen my application-level orchestration skills. I’m passionate about designing efficient, fault-tolerant systems and enjoy bridging the gap between development and operations. What sets me apart is my ability to quickly adapt, continuously learn, and deliver scalable solutions that improve team performance and system uptime. Always eager to grow and contribute to forward-thinking teams and communities.
