Hi, I’m Tapan Hegde — a DevOps Engineer passionate about building scalable, automated, and reliable infrastructure solutions. Starting my journey in backend development, I gradually transitioned into DevOps after discovering the power of automation and cloud-native systems. Since then, I’ve been fortunate to work across diverse environments — from setting up Kubernetes clusters and CI/CD pipelines with GitLab, Jenkins, and ArgoCD to implementing Terraform-based infrastructure, Helm deployments, and EFK/Prometheus-Grafana monitoring systems. One of my key accomplishments was at Honeywell, where I led the development of a self-service infrastructure model and standardized multi-cloud deployments with GitOps workflows. I’ve also authored Python automation tools for infra and DB operations, and optimized developer workflows for better speed and reliability. I thrive in environments where I can bridge dev and ops, reduce friction through automation, and drive continuous delivery excellence. I'm currently exploring more around GitOps, zero-trust security, and advanced Helm/Kubernetes patterns.
