My journey into DevOps wasn't a planned career path; it was a calling born from frustration. I began in traditional system and storage engineer, constantly battling manual deployments and hardware configuration. This pushed me to look into the cloud and automation. I started making things run on their own, especially those boring, repetitive tasks and tricky deployments. I quickly saw how much easier things could be by mixing cloud tools with our existing servers. This whole field is always changing, with new tech popping up all the time, and I just love learning what's next to build better, faster, and more reliable systems.
