Over the past decade, I’ve had the opportunity to architect and manage highly scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure for high-growth startups and fintech platforms—including building everything from scratch at companies like Defx and Vauld. In my most recent role as Principal SRE and Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at Defx—a decentralized crypto exchange— I owned all infrastructure, DevOps, and SRE initiatives end-to-end. I provisioned AWS environments using Terraform, containerized workloads with ECS and Fargate, implemented observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, FluentBit), and ensured infrastructure security through IAM hardening, KMS encryption, and network controls. I also designed a full incident response workflow using Incident.io integrated with Slack, created CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions, and maintained infrastructure costs under $3K/month, even while supporting 24M+ daily transactions. Earlier at Vauld, I helped scale the platform from MVP to 800K+ users, driving automation-first cloud practices and implementing secure, production-grade systems across environments. What excites me most is solving complex infrastructure challenges at scale and enabling teams to move faster with confidence.
