I have been professionally building and publishing websites for over a decade, working with multiple different tech stacks and business needs along the way. Most of my career was spent handling CMS systems, whether that be Wordpress, Drupal, or Django. This repeated switching between different technologies made it so I learned how to architect really reliable Dockerized local development environments. With such local devs, teams of engineers can easily do their work and push it to remote environments with minimal friction, and develop their work on an almost identical tech stack. In addition, being the often times solo member of a devops team made it so I had to effectively communicate problems to both non-technical and technical colleagues. I have long used tooling such as Sentry and Datadog to help illustrate problems when they arise, and I am thrilled to see advances in OpenTelemetry that allows even better logging, monitoring, and tracing capabilities. Do you need better systems setup to hunt down those tricky problems in your application? How about a reliable localdev for your engineering teams? Please reach out to me!
