My journey into DevOps wasn't a direct path; it was born from frustration and a desire for a better way. I started on a team where "it works on my machine" was a common punchline to a painful joke. Deployments were all-night ordeals, fraught with manual checklists and finger-pointing between development and operations. I saw that the real bottleneck wasn't code quality, but the delivery process itself. I became obsessed with automating that process, first with simple scripts, then by building full CI/CD pipelines. I realized that my passion lay not just in writing code, but in building the foundation that allows everyone to write and deliver code better, faster, and safer. That pivotal experience is why I don't just see DevOps as a set of tools it's a cultural mindset I live and breathe.
