My journey into DevOps began with a curiosity about what happens after code is written. Early in my career as a web developer, I enjoyed building applications, but I quickly realised that the real challenge lay in how those applications were deployed, scaled, and kept reliable in production. That curiosity evolved into a passion for automation, cloud infrastructure, and system reliability — and ultimately led me into DevOps. Over the years, I’ve built and modernised cloud platforms across Azure, AWS, and GCP, focusing on automation, security, and scalability. At General Motors, I led the design of an enterprise-grade Azure platform supporting over 200 mission‑critical applications. I developed Terraform and Bicep IaC libraries, implemented GitOps with Argo CD, and strengthened AKS security through OPA/Gatekeeper and workload identity. These efforts improved deployment speed, reduced MTTR by 40%, and cut cloud costs by 30%. Before that, at Novia Financial, I helped modernise a regulated financial platform by migrating to Azure Kubernetes Service, building reusable Azure DevOps YAML pipelines, and embedding secure secrets management with Key Vault and SealedSecrets. The result was faster, auditable, and compliant releases — a major step forward for a financial services company. What drives me in DevOps is the blend of engineering discipline and creative problem‑solving. I enjoy designing systems that are not only technically sound but also empower teams to move faster and safer. I’m particularly passionate about Infrastructure as Code, GitOps, and cloud security — areas where automation and governance meet. My unique strength lies in bridging development and operations with a strong focus on reliability, compliance, and cost efficiency. I bring both hands‑on technical depth and a systems‑thinking mindset, helping organisations build platforms that scale confidently and operate securely. In short, I don’t just automate pipelines — I build the foundation that lets teams innovate without fear of breaking production.
